AMCHAM T&T's 28th Annual General Meeting & Business Forum features a gathering of the business trailblazers and economic thought leaders of the Western Hemisphere to provide insights and offer an innovative perspective into doing business in the Americas.
This signature event on the AMCHAM calendar highlights the achievements of the organisation in the past year as well as the official announcement of the incoming President of the chamber and the new Board of Directors.
This year the event was held virtually due to the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions.
Caroline Toni Sirju-Ramnarine
Caroline Toni Sirju-Ramnarine is the 16th President of the American Chamber of Commerce of Trinidad and Tobago and third (3rd) woman to hold the post. She succeeds outgoing President, Patricia Ghany, Chief Financial Officer at Esau Oilfield Supplies Co. Ltd.
Toni (as she prefers to be called) holds the position of Vice President, Corporate Operations and Transformation at LNG producer Atlantic. Toni has senior strategic leadership oversight of Digital Strategy; Information and Technology Systems; Sustainability and Corporate Communications; Administration and Property Services; and Strategy and Optimisation. With over 25 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, Toni has held senior leadership responsibilities within the fields of Engineering, Business Development, Project Development and Management, Corporate Communications, Planning and Information Technology.
Toni holds an MSc in International Management from King’s College, London and is a qualified Chemical Engineer from the University of the West Indies, St Augustine, where she was named one the university’s Distinguished Alumni. She is a Director of the American Chamber of Commerce, the Loan for Enterprise and Network Development (LEND) and of Structural Engineering firm, KS&P Ltd. She is also a Member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Trinidad and Tobago.
Toni is married and has three children. She enjoys cooking, listening to good music, watching sports and vacationing with her family.
