AMCHAM T&T PRESENTATIONS
Let's talk Business Continuity Planning.
How many of us saw our businesses grind to a halt at the onset of the pandemic?
SURVIVAL in today's highly disruptive business setting means that leaders must have
a BCP-ready for any disaster or crisis situation.
AMCHAM T&T hosted this interactive 3-Day BCP workshop as a peer-learning experience to
share knowledge and good practice amongst private sector partners.
In the end, companies were better prepared and fully ready to
maintain business operations during any disruptive period.

This year's panel of experts included Stuart Franco, CEO at The TSL Group, Therese Turner-Jones, Caribbean Country Department Manager at the IADB, and Zack Nadur, Partner (Strategy & Transactions) at Ernst & Young Services Limited.
In the months prior to our forum, AMCHAM T&T and EY collaborated to conduct a survey to gather perspectives on how companies are driving their strategy in a pandemic-altered business world. This resulted in EY's analysis titled "Can your strategy pivot faster than the speed of change - A Paradigm Shift in driving strategy". This presentation was delivered by Mr. Nadur at the forum, and can be accessed here:

To provide greater insight into this topic, we put together an exciting and dynamic panel of experts for our audience:
On Friday 29th May, AMCHAM T&T hosted the first webinar in its Digital Transformation Series: The Time for TECH is now!
Below are the topics covered by our 4 expert panelists.
"The COVID-19 pandemic has totally transformed the way we interact, work, live and learn. Businesses have had to alter almost every facet of operations to survive.
The most effective means of reducing virus transmission are social distancing and rigorous sanitization. And this won’t change until a vaccine is found.
So what does your business need to know in order to survive in these challenging times? Can you future-proof your business?"
Our webinar explored these questions from four perspectives:
COVID-19 is forcing many companies to speed up the timeline of their digital transformations. Until this happens, many of us have been left to utilize improvised work-spaces from our homes with unsecured networks on mobile devices to conduct business.
While all the attention has been focused on containing the spread of the virus, we cannot allow ourselves to ignore another potentially dangerous threat that can cause major harm to our businesses i.e. breaches in our online security.
On Tuesday 12th May, AMCHAM T&T continued its Navigating the Pandemic series with a special webinar dedicated to Cyber Security and best practices in online security.
Our presenters included Shanna Utgard from Defendify, Vernon Jeffery from Readiness Associates, and Anthony Subero and Daniel Gaudreau from Hitachi Systems Security Inc.
