Mitchell De Silva

Mitchell De Silva is a career Banker, having worked in the industry for twenty (20) years, primarily in the Corporate and Investment Banking space. He possesses a sound understanding of the Caribbean debt markets and has participated in numerous transactions over that time across the public and private sector landscape. During his tenure, he has led or had a significant role in financings totaling in excess of US$7Bln. As a relationship oriented person, Mitch interacts with key contacts across the various markets and willingly shares his perspectives and views with clients and colleagues alike. In furtherance of that, Mitch is the President of the American Chamber of Commerce of Trinidad and Tobago (AMCHAMTT) a post he was elected to in May 2017. As President, Mitch has responsibility for the representation of three hundred (300) private sector entities, representing multiple areas of the business community in country. In this role, Mitch, together with the Board of the Chamber, its CEO and staff, presents and advocates for private sector views on matters of public policy and regulatory issues.

Mitch and his wife Gina have been happily married for the past fourteen (14) years and are the proud parents of two boys, Joshua and Evan. He holds a Bachelor of Industrial Management from the University of West Indies and an MBA from York University, Schluich School of Business.



Patricia Ghany

Patricia Ghany is the Chief Financial Officer at Esau Oilfield Supplies Co. Ltd., a leading supplier of pipes, valves, pipe fittings and gaskets to the petrochemical and oil and gas sectors in Trinidad & Tobago. Ms. Ghany has over 20 years’ experience in various aspects of the Oil & Gas sector with an emphasis on Procurement, Business Development and Project Management.


Ms. Ghany graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology and her Masters of Business Administration. She has also completed graduate courses in International Management and Cross-cultural Counseling at Harvard University. Before returning to Trinidad in 1995, she was an International Trainer and Consultant in the areas of Cross-Cultural Management, Diversity and Team Building in Austria and Germany. Ms. Ghany is a member of the Family Firm Institute , in Boston and has earned her Advanced Certificate in Family Business Advising, and Certificate in Family Wealth Advising. She is currently working on establishing a practice to increase public awareness and broaden the understanding of trends and developments in the fields of family business and family wealth in Trinidad & Tobago.

Ms. Ghany has served four terms as a member of the Board of Directors of AMCHAM T&T. She has been Chairperson and a member of AMCHAM T&T’s Programs and Events Committee, and is presently a member of the Chamber and Experience and Imaging Committee. She has served on diverse boards such as The International School of Port of Spain, The South Cancer Society and Cedar Grove Private School and Women in Family Business Network.

Simon Aqui

Simon Aqui is the Business Development Executive for the IBM Caribbean Financial Services Sector, responsible for partnering with clients to manage their Digital Reinvention™ in this technologically disruptive generation.

Prior to this position, Simon served as the General Manager of IBM Trinidad & Tobago since 2008 with responsibility for the P&L country operations including strategic planning, sales, service delivery and support functions. Simon worked in various leadership positions at IBM over the last 25 years, and spent four years working and studying in Silicon Valley developing managerial and technology expertise.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce of Trinidad & Tobago (AMCHAM) as a former President, and as the Vice-Chair of the e-business Roundtable Executive Committee, a Public Private Partnership ICT Advisory board to the Government of Trinidad & Tobago. Simon is also actively involved with the United Way of Trinidad & Tobago, serving on the Donations and Marketing Committee.

Simon obtained his B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine and his MBA from the University of California, Berkeley (Haas).



Nicholas Galt

Nicholas Galt is the Executive Chairman of the TSL Group, a group of ICT companies operating predominantly throughout the Caribbean region. He is recognized regionally for his entrepreneurial personality and his software engineering skills. He is the author of several regionally successful applications and co-author of the Caribbean’s most successful integrated Human Resource Management System.

He maintains a varied portfolio in both the business world and the NGO communities. Besides his role as Chairman of The TSL Group, he is also Chairman Emeritus of the Governing Board of Directors of The Association of American Chambers of Commerce of Latin America and the Caribbean (AACCLA), a Washington D.C. organization and a council of the U.S Chamber of Commerce. He is a Trustee and a Board Director of the Pan American Development Foundation as well as the Caribbean Science Foundation. In Trinidad and Tobago, Galt is a past president and sitting Board Member of the American Chamber of Commerce. Galt was also appointed to the Chair of the Debates Commission of Trinidad and Tobago in June 2017.

Galt is also a Board Member of NiQuan Energy Trinidad Limited, a Gas to Liquids Plant which will come on stream in late 2018.

Galt is a liaison Officer for the Guillain Barre Foundation of Philadelphia, U.S.A.

Galt, a Rotarian for several years, is a Paul Harris fellow.

He was appointed to the Senate of Trinidad and Tobago as an Independent Senator (Temporary) in June 2008, in May 2009, in December 2010 and again in March 2012.

On October 8th 2008, Galt was elected a member of The Worshipful Company of Information Technologists, a London Livery Company. He holds the honour of being the first Caribbean Information Technologist to be awarded membership to this highly profiled organization. On February 11th 2010, he was made a Freeman and Citizen of the City of London, U.K. On October 13th, 2011, he was elevated to Livery Man at St. Bart’s Cathedral and is now one of 5000 Livery Men who are eligible to elect the Mayor and Sheriffs and other elected officials of the City of London.

Born of Trinidadian parents on October 29, 1953 in Port of Spain, Galt and his wife Nicole, have three children Kristy, Kelly and Andrew and six grandchildren.

Giselle Thompson

Giselle Thompson is the Vice President for Corporate Operations for BP Trinidad and Tobago. In this role she holds accountability for the management of the company’s external facing strategy and reputation. This includes the management of the company’s internal and external communications and overseeing all interactions between BPTT and external stakeholders including the government, business partners and the community. In this role she is also accountable for compliance and ethics, facilities and management services and risk integration.

Giselle joined BPTT in 2005 and prior to this she spent eight years in the pharmaceutical industry working with GlaxoSmithKline where she held senior marketing positions in their Caribbean and Central American operations.

Giselle holds an honours degree in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies and is the recipient of the UWI’s distinguished alumni award.





Sana Ragbir

Sana is the General Manager of First Citizens Investment Services Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of First Citizens Bank Limited. She has primary responsibility for the operations of the four countries that FCIS operates in. She has over 12 years’ experience in investment banking including more than 3 years’ experience with a large international investment banker. During her career, she has accumulated extensive experience in the international and regional securities markets. She has represented First Citizens through various public seminars and articles, on topics of economics, investments and capital markets.

Sana has been a prior member of the Board of Directors of the Securities Dealers Association of Trinidad and Tobago from 2011 to 2015, where she was the Head of the Capital Markets Committee. She is a current member of the CFA Society of Trinidad and Tobago and the international CFA Institute.

Sana obtained a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia Business School in New York, where she graduated on the Dean’s list and was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Society for her high performance. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst. She earned her Bachelors in Science from the University of the West Indies in Chemistry/Management where she graduated with First Class Honours.



Racquel Moses

Racquel Moses is currently the country manager for Microsoft Trinidad and Tobago and the regional director of the public sector for Microsoft Caribbean. Most recently she has served as the Head of Caribbean and International projects for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and was previously the President of InvesTT Trinidad and Tobago. Racquel was born and raised in Trinidad, although the bulk of her career has been international, including several executive-level positions at large multinational organizations including JP Morgan Chase, Cable & Wireless and Fujitsu. Through all of her appointments she has served as an agent of change and high performance. Racquel currently serves as the trustee for the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee.











Glenford Joseph

Mr. Joseph comes with wide ranging Public and Private (formal and informal) Sector experiences both locally and regionally at the senior management levels. Currently he manages his own business – Glenroy and Associates Co. Ltd. As Managing Director, he works with medium to small companies/organizations and government agencies, as they seek to improve operational efficiency, productivity and customer service.

Prior to this, he held key managerial positions spanning over twenty years of his professional career as Vice President, Marketing & Advancement/Associate Professor and Chairman of the La Realista Property Development and Management Co. Limited at the University of the Southern Caribbean (USC); Board member of the said University; Vice President, Human Resources with the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT); General Manager, Corporate Services with the Eastern Group of Companies, Trinidad; Director, Human Resources in the Ministry of Education; Senior Manager, Human Resources at National Airline Company of Trinidad and Tobago - BWIA International; Director, Marketing and Client Services at Media Planners and Consultants Limited; and Lecturer (Leadership and Organizational Behaviour) in the Engineering Technology Programmes at the then Trinidad and Tobago Institute of Technology, now UTT. He has served as a member of the Trade and Investment Committee and Business Incubator Sub Committee since 2011.

Mr. Joseph completed his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degree and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) Degree at Andrews University in the USA, together with a wide range of relevant training and/or developmental courses, and is currently completing his DM in Organizational Leadership at the University of Phoenix.

Olivier Maumaire

Olivier graduated from the Hotel & Tourism College of Strasbourg, France. He began his career in several ascending positions in Germany, Belgium and then on to Strasbourg France, where he joined the Hilton family at the Hilton Strasbourg as a Bartender.

His drive to advance his career moved him out of Europe firstly to the Caracas Hilton, Venezuela and then to Barquisimeto Hilton as F&B Director. Later he was transferred to Puerto Rico where he was stationed at the Ponce Hilton as the Operations Manager. While in Puerto Rico he was fortunate to enhance his personal life as this is where he met his lovely wife Alila. He also advanced his career by becoming the Director of Operations and Regional Director of Food and Beverage for Latin America and the Caribbean at Caribe Hilton. His first General Manager position was at the Hilton Papagayo in Costa Rica, following which he has held several General Manager positions; Embassy Suites Isla Verde in Puerto Rico, El San Juan Resort and Casino in Puerto Rico, Hilton Aruba, Aruba and now the Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre, Trinidad.

Olivier is a French national and he speaks French, English and Spanish fluently; he also speaks basic German and Italian.

Olivier enjoys spending quality time with his wife Alila and son Max. He likes travelling, eating out – experiencing the cuisine of other countries, cooking, playing tennis and going to the movies.

Gregory Hill

Mr. Gregory Nicholas Hill, a career banker, has earned a notable reputation in the regional financial services industry spanning over 25 years, in Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Banking Regulation.

Mr. Hill is the Managing Director of ANSA Merchant Bank Ltd, which is listed on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange (TTSE) and as Managing Director, he led the Bank into the regional capital market spotlight with several high profile transactions, with executed volume in excess of TTD 24 billion.

Prior to this role, Mr. Hill held executive positions at regional Financial Institutions, where his responsibilities included; Head of Corporate Banking for regional banking subsidiaries, Head of Investment Banking for the Caribbean and domestically Banking Supervision for Deposit Insurance.

Mr. Hill is a past President of the Securities Dealers Association of Trinidad & Tobago (“SDATT”) which is charged with leading the development of the securities and capital market in Trinidad & Tobago.

Mr. Hill graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics (Honours) from the University of the West Indies and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) U.K and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad & Tobago (ICATT). He graduated as Top MBA Student in 2004 from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business with an Executive Masters in Business Administration and is currently Chairman of the Board of the Alumni Association.

Karrian Hepburn

Karrian’s leadership record over the last fourteen years at an international financial institution includes General Manager/Investments to which she had oversight of the institution’s Private Client Group and Branch Manager. Her leadership role spans between Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.

Her career experience includes Strategic and Financial Planning, Marketing and Sales, Designing and Implementing Policies and Procedures to maintain best practices in sales and service, Customer Relationship Management, Business Compliance as it relates to Anti Money Laundering and Know Your Customer-related matters and people leadership.

Karrian is a Licensed Broker with the Securities and Exchange Commission (TTSEC), a Licensed Trader with the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange (TTSE) and a holder of Mutual Funds Licence from the Institute of Canadian Bankers.

She holds an MBA in General Management and a B.Sc. in Management Studies and Public Administration from The University of the West Indies. In addition, she has completed international professional training in the areas of Business Support Services, Audit, Credit Risk Management and Operations Shared Services.

She is currently in the role of Chief Customer Relationship Officer, at the Trinidad and Tobago Unit Trust Corporation. She has executive responsibility for managing all customer relationships and service touchpoints across the corporation which includes the Investments Centres, Bureau de Charge, Advisory Services, Contact Centre and Card Services.
