Caroline Toni Sirju-Ramnarine holds the position of Vice President, Corporate Operations at LNG producer Atlantic. As Vice President of Atlantic’s Corporate Operations Department, Toni has senior strategic leadership oversight of three functions: Information and Technology Systems; Sustainability and Corporate Communications; and Administration and Property Services.
With over 25 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, Toni has held senior leadership responsibilities within the fields of Engineering, Business Development, Project Development and Management, Corporate Communications, Planning and Information Technology.
Toni is a qualified Chemical Engineer (U.W.I., St Augustine) and holds an MSc in International Management from King’s College London. She is a Director of the Loan for Enterprise and Network Development (LEND) and of Structural Engineering firm, KS&P Ltd. She is also a Member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Trinidad and Tobago.Toni is married and has three children. She enjoys cooking, listening to good music, watching sports and vacationing with her family.
Glenn Hamel-Smith is a Partner and the Head of the Banking & Finance Practice Group at M.Hamel-Smith & Co., and has been practicing law for over twenty years. He is admitted to practice law both in the State of Florida and in Trinidad and Tobago. Before joining Hamel-Smith in 2002, he began his legal career in 1998 in the International and Corporate Departments of Steel Hector & Davis LLP (now Squire Patton Boggs), one of the largest international law firms headquartered in Miami, Florida at the time.
Glenn obtained his Legal Education Certificate from Hugh Wooding Law School and his Juris Doctor law degree from the University of Miami School of Law as a Deans’ Honour Scholar. Additionally, he holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in International Business and Management Information Systems from Florida International University where he graduated at the top of his class as a Faculty Scholar. He has also participated in various post-graduate, executive education courses, including, among others, courses in Business Management and International Lending in Oxford and Cambridge in the UK.
Glenn’s legal practice focuses on bank finance and regulation, secured and unsecured lending, project finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities advisory matters, capital markets transactions, take-over bids, and IPO’s. Over the years, he has advised lenders, borrowers, arrangers, underwriters, bond & note issuers, securities companies, trustees and financial advisers in transactions valued in the billions of dollars in aggregate. He has published and co-published several articles on various topics including corporate governance, securities laws, bank finance and regulations, taking security over collateral, and mergers and acquisitions.
In addition to his day job, Glenn currently serves as a Director and Corporate Secretary for AMCHAM T&T having previously served as a Vice-President of the Chamber. He is a member of the Chamber’s Transparency Accountability and Governance Committee and previously served as a member of its Legislative Committee for over seven years, the last four of which he served as the Chair. Glenn is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Readymix ( West Indies) Limited and a member of its Board Audit Committee, and previously served as a Director of its parent company, Trinidad Cement Limited. He also serves as a Director and Board Audit Committee member of Island Finance Trinidad & Tobago Limited. He is married with two children.
Bruce is an Engineering Graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA ad holds a Postgraduate Intellectual Property Law qualification from Queen Mary University of London, United Kingdom.
Greer Quan joined Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG) as Chief Operations Officer – Caribbean on December 1, 2014. In this role, she initially assumed responsibility for the Operations of the Individual Line of Business and shortly after, Group and Pensions Administration also fell under her remit.
Ms. Quan has over ten years in the Banking and Financial Services sector and an extensive background in Operations Management, including engineering, project management, legal, procurement, facilities, human resources and information technology. Prior to joining Pan-American Life, she served as the Chief Operating Officer of the Urban Development Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago (UDeCOTT).
On January 1, 2017, Greer assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer for the Caribbean operations of PALIG.
In addition to her professional experience, Greer holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) from the University of London in the United Kingdom. She is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA, CPA).
Mr. Rampersad has over 26 years’ experience in financial accounting. At PPGPL, he has held various portfolios including management accountant, financial accountant and business development project leader. In his role as business development project leader he was a key contributor to securing five expansion projects that resulted in the doubling of PPGPL's gas processing, fractionation and NGLs storage capacity. From November 2003 to November 2014 he performed the role of vice president, Finance and Information Technology he is responsible for the finance, information technology, project financing and corporate legal functions, and also performs the role of corporate secretary.
Since November 2014 he has been performing the role of President. Prior to joining PPGPL, he was the financial accountant at the National Institute of Higher Education, a government statutory board.
He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Oxford Institute of International Finance. He currently serves on the boards of the American Chamber of Commerce of Trinidad and Tobago (AmCham TT) and the Unit Trust Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago (UTC).
Gayle has had an extensive over 20 year career with Scotiabank and is currently the Vice President and Chief Risk Officer Caribbean South and East. In this capacity Gayle provides strategic direction and leadership for the 11 jurisdictions within this region.
Gayle’s substantive role is the Management of all financial and non- financial risks. She is the Chairperson for the Internal Control and Non Financial Risk Committee as well as the Credit Risk Committee and is a key member of all Executive Management Committees for the Caribbean South & East region.
2015-2017 Gayle held the position of General Manager, Risk Management, where she fostered a high performance culture by strengthening risk control and oversight within Caribbean South.
Over the period 2011-2015, Gayle was the General Manager, Corporate and Commercial Banking for Scotiabank. This business line is where she spent the majority of her career building Corporate and Commercial tier relationships for the Group, making significant contributions to the business and clients, and leading teams through origination and structuring of transactions for State entities, multinationals, and local entities across a number of industries.
Ravi Suryadevara is the Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O.) and Co-Owner of the Trinidad Valve & Fitting Company Limited (TRINVALCO) in Trinidad and Tobago. Ravi had worked in various executive positions within the organization prior to his acquisition of the company in 2006, with his last being that of Chief Operations Officer (C.O.O).
Ravi holds a BSc. in Nuclear Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a M.B.A from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business, The University of The West Indies.
Ravi is a Director of the American Chamber of Commerce of Trinidad & Tobago, a position he has held since May 2014. He was President for the period 2015-2017, Vice President for the period 2014-2015, and Chair of the Trade and Investment Committee for three years. Jason George has over 25 years’ experience in the Airline Business. He began his career as a summer intern - airport operations, at one of the larger foreign carriers. Together with dedication and a passion to learn, he became a highly qualified professional within the industry and for the past twelve years, he has used his veteran experience, to lead the team at United Airlines Inc. in the areas of customer experience, travel management, marketing and sales. Jason’s role as Country Sales Manager, based in Trinidad, covers the English speaking Caribbean Islands, Aruba, Belize, but also includes Bahamas, Bermuda, and Grand Cayman, expanding his reach and influence across the region.
Jason is currently a member of the Board of Directors and a past chair of the Experience and Imaging Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce of Trinidad & Tobago; he worked closely with the CEO and secretariat to maintain and uplift the Chamber's image, while enhancing members' experience. The committee, while under his tutelage, provided ideas for events and support to chamber-sanctioned events.
Aside from his love for animals (especially dogs) and travel, recently he began learning game of Golf. He continues to volunteer at the TTSPCA, and was recently inducted into the Rotary Club of St. Augustine.
