Mrs. Karrian Hepburn Malcolm’s career experience spans over 15 years and includes strategic and financial planning, marketing and sales, designing and implementing policies and procedures, customer relationship management, compliance as it relates to anti-money laundering, know your customer-related matters, and people leadership.
Ms. Hepburn is a licensed broker with the Trinidad and Tobago Securities and Exchange Commission (TTSEC), was a licensed trader with the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange (TTSE) and a holder of a mutual funds licence from the Institute of Canadian Bankers.
She holds an M.B.A. in General Management and a B.Sc. in Management Studies and Public Administration from The University of the West Indies. In addition, she has completed international professional training in the areas of business support services, audit, credit risk management and operations shared services.
In the role of Vice President, Sales and Service, she has executive responsibility for managing all customer relationships and service touchpoints across the Corporation, which includes the Investment Centres, advisory services, contact centres and card services.

Berisford Grey (known as Beris) is widely considered one of the region’s top investment bankers. As one of the founders of Sygnus Capital, he is living out his passion to create a leading non-traditional financial solutions firm that uses creative approaches to unlock capital for clients.
Beris’s career was launched in the European Debt Capital Markets where he worked as an Associate Director in investment banking with particular focus on Securitisation and Structured Finance. After returning to the Caribbean, he held key positions at leading regional banks where he used his out-of-the-box thinking to generate game-changing results. This includes setting up and driving the Scotia Investments Capital Markets Unit to become a leader in the local market within 3-years and contributing significantly to the turnaround of CIBC FirstCaribbean Corporate & Investment Banking business between 2013-2016.
Over the last decade, he has raised over US$ 10 billion in financing for corporates and sovereigns across the region. At CIBC FirstCaribbean, the largest regional bank in the English Speaking Caribbean, he held the posts of Managing Director and Executive Director of Corporate and Investment Banking where he oversaw a loan portfolio of US$3.0 billion USD in assets, and developed and executed regional strategy for the business to ensure competitiveness and long-term sustainability.
Prior to joining CIBC FirstCaribbean, Beris served as Senior Vice President of Origination & Capital Markets at Scotia Investments Jamaica Limited between 2010 and 2013. During this time, he executed some of the most innovative transactions in the local market including synthetic REIT financing structures and other first-of-its-kind project financing ideas.
Beris has the knowledge, talent and leadership skills to move Sygnus Capital forward. He holds an MBA in Entrepreneurial Finance from Vlerick Leuven Management School, Belgium and an MSc in Economics from the University of the West Indies. He has also completed the 1-year Executive Leadership Program at the Wharton School of Business in Pennsylvania, USA.
Vashtie Dookiesingh is a private finance operations senior specialist at IDB Lab, the innovation Lab of the IDB Group where she has facilitated the development and management of multilateral loan and grant operations for IDB Lab in Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, St Lucia, Suriname and Guyana. Her career experience spans over 28 years in professional service delivery, including 13 within the private sector and 16 within the dominant multilateral financing institution and development partner in Latin America and Caribbean. Over the course of her career Vashtie has worked on a broad range of topics including the Future of Work, Business Climate Improvement, ICT adoption by SMEs, Climate Smart Agriculture, Climate Resilience, Financial Inclusion, Cultural Industries and Innovation.

His experience includes Bond Arrangement and Syndication, Asset and Mutual Fund Management, Bond and Stock Trading, Economic Research and Commentary, Retail and Commercial Banking and Treasury Management, all in the Local, Regional and International space.
He holds an Economics and Management Degree ( Double Major) from the University of the West Indies (Cave Hill).
